To be deployed in 2021, Mary is building its first autonomous vertical farm in Yunnan, China for commercial and rapid R&D purposes.

Year-Round Harvests Anywhere in the World

Humans have been growing at nature's mercy since...forever. Nature puts a limit on where we can produce food and, in turn, where we can form communities. Soilless cultivation with only nutrients solutions means we now have total control over what our crops take up, while saving upwards of 90% water. The amount of water, nutrients, are meticulously calculated so there is no waste.

The independence from soil opens up a whole new dimension for food production. We can now build farms along the Z-axis - storeys of them like apartment buildings - to support the ever-growing population with a lot less need for land.
